Squier Vista Venus

There should be more women involved in designing guitars.
As evidenced by this gorgeous Vista Venus by Squier.



The Squier Venus (commonly known as Fender Vista Venus) is a signature series guitar released in 1997 and co-designed by Courtney Love of Hole with Fender's Custom Shop.


Offset body, available in either in Surf Green, Sunburst or Black, with a 3-way switch commanding a humbucker in the bridge and a single coil in the neck.
Notice also the string-through-body bridge.


Although looking very familiar at first sight, I love (hu hu hu) the shape and material of the pickguard, the slant at the end of the fingerboard, the simplicity of the controls (1 switch and 1 master volume), the color (with matching headstock), the roundedness...

This instrument is quite unique and absolutely lovely.


As if that was not enough goodness, they also made a 12 strings model...
